There are not many places in the world that offer a wide, open view to the Großglockner, Zugspitze and Dolomites at the same time. At 3250 m you will find the panorama terrace at the Hintertux glacier that offer this unique view of the Alps.

At the top of the mountain station Gefrorene Wand is where you will find the popular panorama terrace that can be reached by cable car. The ascent alone with Gletscherbus 3 is an experience in itself.  It is the only ropeway in the region with a valley station that is located at an altitude of 3000m - and the ascent is pretty exciting.

Having the impressive Tux Alps and nature park Zillertal at their own feet, the  gondola offers its passengers an awesome panoramic view.

Daydreaming

Absorbing the view, imagining flying over the Alps, like a bird, being free, without any limits, unwinding and relaxing, breathing in fresh mountain air and feeling on top of the world. Places, like the panorama terrace at the Hintertux glacier,  where one can experience the mountain world in such a unique and fascinating way, are really rare.
