Arena coaster

The slightly different way down

Arena Coaster

Experience speed,  feel the adrenaline rush. That's easy during winter holidays in the Ziller valley - after all there are numerous downhill runs to choose from. But what to do when summer has arrived? Even then 2 dynamic opportunities present themselves: in the warmer months the Zillertal Arena turns into a true eldorado for mountain bikers. Should the steep ascents and even more dicey descents not appeal to some, then there is always a welcome and more than worthy alternative: the Arena Coaster, the first alpine rollercoaster.

The Arena Coaster. Going down in a slightly different way.

Whether you will spend your winter or summer holidays in the Ziller valley - since 2007 the Arena Coaster has provided year-round tobogganing fun. The attraction is located right next to the valley station in Zell am Ziller. At reasonable rates one can experience a true holiday adventure - after all one is 9 metres above the ground and will live through a 540° loop.

It is possible to pass the 1125 metres in 2 minutes - in that case the average speed would reach a remarkable 40km p/h. By applying the brakes every now and then, the ride can be held in an easier way - the rails lead through a forested area and offer various views of the valley around Zell.  The ride on the alpine rollercoaster will take approx. 6-7 minutes, including the way up.

The Arena Coaster is not just for adrenaline junkies. It is also very suitable for families.  Furthermore, there are an adventure playground with trampoline, climbing towers and slides for children.
