A winter without snow is impossible in the Ziller valley. This is indicated by the metres in altitude: the ski areas lead up to a height of 3.250 metres.

Highlights for Snowboarders
A 120 meter high superpipe is the unofficial highlight for boarders, who come to the Ziller valley Alps. But the boarder parks offer much more. The Bretterpark in Hintertux and the Funpark in the winter sports area of Mayrhofen with Lines offer different degrees of difficulty and loads of fun. Deep powder snow spots and many down hill runs complete the many activities in the Ziller valley during your winter holidays.
Hüttengaudi (Alp hut party)
If one is sporty and active, one should be able to enjoy everything to the fullest, including the breaks. Huts and après ski bars located on the runs invite for a stop after skiing - here is where you will find a great atmosphere, jolly people and the opportunity to make new acquaintances, guaranteed.
Also in culinary respect you will have ample choice: besides a cheese making factory, Schnaps distillery and alpine dairy the Zillertal offers restaurants, that have been awarded prizes and are known for their specialities.
