There are not many places in the world that offer a wide, open view to the Großglockner, Zugspitze and Dolomites at the same time. At 3250 m you will find the panorama terrace at the Hintertux glacier that offer this unique view of the Alps.

The first starting point for this tour lies between Gerlos and Zell. From there you can take the Gerlossteinbahn to the starting point of the via ferrata.

Nestled between mountains and glaciers is the alpine storage reservoir Kaprun. A great scenery, perfect for beautiful hiking and climbing tours.

At the entrance to the Ziller valley and not far from Fügen is where you will your find the Schlitter lake. The recreational area around the Schlitter lake was opened in the year 2000 and has continuously been developed ever since. Being close to nature and experiencing nature is the motto here.

For hundreds of years various types of fruit brandy have been manufactured. The Schnaps is made by fermentation and destillation of several fruit varieties.

Located between Kaltenbach and Zell am Ziller is the small village of Aschau. Here is where you will find a small paradise for those, seeking leisure and recreation. Campers have known the adventure park Auenfeld for quite a while campers, but due to its good location and ample recreational facilities it is just as worthwhile and suitable for a day excursion.

The high rope course is one big adventure for children and young people. Here, in the open countryside, they can show their skills and burn themselves out.

Experience speed, feel the adrenaline rush. That's easy during winter holidays in the Ziller valley - after all there are numerous downhill runs to choose from. They say it was the devil himself, who built this bridge over the Tux river. The question, whether it was him or simply a masterly example of how Tyrolean wooden bridges are built, will not entirely be answered. But one thing is certain: it is certainly worthwile visiting the bridge, dating back to 1876 and being located at the Dornauer Hof.

Slightly outside of the village Mayrhofen, in the district of Hollenzen is where the experience alpine dairy Ziller valley, the so-called Sennerei Zillertal, is located. From afar one can see the spotted cows on the Sennerei, indicating there is something special to see there: a transparant 6000 sq m large plant that processes milk and produces cheese and grants its visitors a glimpse behind the scenes.
