Hotel Bräu

The 4-star Hotel-Gasthof Bräu was built in the year 1500 and boasts a long, genuinely Tyrolean history. 
In the course of the past centuries the Bräu was repeatedly modified to meet the demands of the respective time periods. It has always been very important to us to maintain authentic details. The hotel Bräu houses many carefully treated treasures that have been passed through the generations. Today the Bräu is a real gem on the village square in Zell, the geographical and cultural centre of the Ziller valley. 

The Kolbitsch family´s goal is to host all guests in a familiar and cordial atmosphere and to provide them with all kinds of genuine experiences. 

The Bräu offers many typical, authentic and unparalleled culinary delights. The ingredients come from the hotel´s own farm with fish lakes and cultivated pastures. 

Many recipes have a long history and are well guarded in the Bräu kitchen. Whether breakfast buffet, à la carte dishes, 4-course dinner and many more -  Bräu cuisine is always delightful. 

At the Bräu everything is authentic - even the beer comes from the own Zillertal beer brewery and is a welcome resfreshment after the holidays activities in and around the Hotel-Gasthof Bräu.

Its distinctive taste and quality have made the Zillertal beer and our brewery to what it is today: Tyrol´s oldest private brewery. Due to our unique brewery water and the long maturing time our Zillertal beers are really something else.
