Pleasure mountain Ahorn – Mayrhofen's own mountain combines the beauty of the alpine surroundings with many leisure activities and culinary adventures, The most popular starting point is the panorama platform at 1965 mtres. From here one can enjoy wide views and explore the hiking area as well as the alpine nature park Zillertaler Alpen.

Summer holidays on the leisure trail

The leisure trail covers a great part of the attractions around the Ahorn, including the Adlerbühne: at 2000 metres above sea level one can enjoy the bird of prey demonstration, learn all there is to know about traditional falconry and take a closer look at these great animals.

Next stop on the leisure trail could be the ,Freiraum‘ – a modern building complex with cantilever observation deck at 2000 metres above sea level. Should you not be reading the tempting menu in the café bistro, you certainly should not miss the 'games for the senses' at the "Naturerlebnis-Center". Here you will learn about records within the animal kingdom and about alpine flora and fauna
