Pleasure mountain Spieljoch

In winter a white beauty and in warm summer green nature in bloom. The Spieljochbahn near Fügen also offers countless opportunities for an active holiday and exploring tours of the many-faceted alpine world in summer. The four kilometres long ropeway, bearing the same name as the surrounding ski area, is the perfect means of transport to a height of 1860 m. 

The mountain station of the Spieljochbahn offers perfect opportunities for lovely hiking tours. Whether to the impounding reservoir Arzjoch, down into the valley to Fügen or to the highest located tourist mine in Austria, in the Öxel valley. For all degrees of difficulty the Ziller valley offers a suitable route. Something special is the barefoot trail that also starts at the mountain station. 

Adventure world Spieljoch

The natural conditions around the 2.236 metre high peak of the Spieljoch are made for challenging climbing tours - ambitious sportspeople will be eager to climb via the north face or the west ridge.  Beginners, both young and old can cut their teeth on the Ziller valley climbing crag.

Gliding down into the valley with the best view, one can imagine: paragliding is a favourite sport in summer and for a reason. One will glide up to 1400m high before the soft landing in the valley.
