The Rosenalmbahn in Zell am Zeller provides access to the extensive ski area Zillertal Arena that offers 143 kilometres of well prepared ski runs, covering all degrees of difficulty.
The ski area Zillertal Arena spreads the area Zell, Gerlos (Tyrol), Königsleiten/Wald and Krimml/Hochkrimml (Salzburg). It does not only offer the visitor ravishing views and magic winter scenery, but also the opportunity to take a break, have a bite or a drink at one of the 35 huts, restaurants and snow bars. There is a high altitude cross- country ski trail at approx. 1600 metres besides a freestyle paradies for boarders and fans of freestyle. Both adults and children thoroughly enjoy the Arena Coaster Alpen toboganing run at the valley station. The Zillertal Arena caters for all tastes.
